The Branding Guidelines Sheet is a critical reference tool that ensures all brand communications and materials maintain consistency and cohesiveness. It outlines the key elements of the brand’s visual and verbal identity, including logo specifications, color palette, typography, imagery standards, graphic elements, and tone of voice. This document is essential for designers and marketers to create a unified look and feel across various platforms.

Additionally, the guidelines include practical examples of brand applications such as business cards, brochures, websites, and social media graphics. By adhering to the sheet, all brand-related materials align with the established identity, enhancing brand recognition and presenting a professional and polished image.

Lumina Skin Essentials

For Lumina Skin Essentials, a skincare brand focused on natural, high-quality ingredients, I developed a calming, nature-inspired brand identity. The primary logo features a clean, modern font with a warm sunburst symbol that conveys light and renewal, while a secondary logo offers flexibility across different applications. The color palette combines soft greens and warm accents, evoking nature and purity, which aligns with Lumina’s values. I chose the elegant Hashira Mt-Regular font for the primary typeface, complemented by the minimal Degular Variable for readability. Key design elements include the sunburst motif and nature-inspired imagery, creating a soothing, cohesive look. This design effectively captures Lumina’s essence, positioning the brand as a trusted choice in the skincare market.

The selected images of natural textures—like leaves, oils, and serums—served as inspiration for the brand’s aesthetic, helping to shape its earthy and tranquil personality. These visuals guided the design decisions, influencing the organic shapes, soft colors, and overall feel of the branding. This visual language emphasizes Lumina’s focus on purity and self-care, creating an immersive experience that resonates with its audience. The cohesive, versatile brand identity not only strengthens Lumina’s market presence but also builds a meaningful connection with customers by reflecting the brand's commitment to natural beauty and wellness.

Shop With Chy

Shop With Chy is a vibrant retail brand aimed at a youthful, style-conscious audience. The goal was to create a cohesive brand identity that captured its bold, playful personality with a nostalgic retro touch. The primary logo, designed using the script-style font Hi Monday, incorporated a layered red and blue color scheme to evoke depth and charm. Secondary logos and custom floral icons were developed to ensure versatility across different platforms, while a curated color palette of red, light blue, black, and white added vibrancy and energy. The typography balanced the retro feel with modern simplicity, combining Hi Monday for bold statements and Walkway Black for clean support text.

The final brand identity successfully blended nostalgic aesthetics with contemporary vibrancy, creating a fun and approachable style. Deliverables included primary and secondary logos, monogram icons, and a comprehensive brand board to guide consistent application across social media, packaging, and marketing materials. By combining retro diner-inspired visuals with youthful charm, the branding positioned Shop With Chy as a standout in its competitive space. This project highlights the ability to craft a memorable, dynamic identity that resonates with modern audiences while maintaining flexibility for diverse applications.

Vivid Nail Bar

For Vivid Nail Bar, I created a vibrant and bold brand identity that perfectly captures the fun, fearless, and unapologetic energy of its clientele. The primary logo is a standout, using layered typography in vivid pink tones with star accents to evoke a sense of playfulness and glamour. The brand’s color palette, featuring a striking combination of navy, hot pink, and blush tones, creates an eye-catching aesthetic that appeals to both Gen Z and millennial audiences. Key design elements, such as nail polish icons and cherry illustrations, add a cheeky, whimsical touch to the brand’s visuals.

The typography choices, Ligaflow Regular and Neuropol-Regular, strike a balance between retro charm and modern edge, ensuring the brand feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking. These fonts, paired with the dynamic color combinations and graphic elements, make the branding highly memorable and versatile across various platforms and materials. Imagery within the brand board emphasizes a carefree and bold attitude, aligning with the personality of Vivid Nail Bar’s target market.

This cohesive branding elevates Vivid Nail Bar’s presence in the beauty industry, positioning it as a destination for individuals who love bold self-expression. The seamless integration of playful visuals, bold typography, and strategic color choices ensures that the brand resonates deeply with its audience while standing out in a competitive market.
